The Alumni was formed in Sep 2012 with the aim of bringing together the recipients of the scholarships established by both ARA Asset Management Limited and the Lim Hoon Foundation. It also aims to be the platform for the scholars to give back to society as well as to provide support for all past and present scholars.

The Alumni's maiden project was "Soccer Books", a tuition scheme in collaboration with Jurong Spring CCC. As part of the programme, the scholars spend Sunday afternoons helping youths from the Jurong Spring CCC soccer team prepare for their "N / O level" examinations.
